The Reading Summer Music Institute (RSMI), at The GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, in Reading, Pennsylvania, is a tuition-free week-long intensive program for the region's middle and high school winds, brass and percussion students. RSMI was established in 2008 to provide a comprehensive musical immersion emphasizing various ensemble opportunities and interactive musical exploration. Our mission is to inspire students to become life-time lovers of music. Each summer, students from Berks county and beyond join our faculty from across North America to create a musical community in Reading. These students receive musical training of the highest caliber and draw a wealth of experience from our distinguished faculty to help them understand, present and live the musical process.
